1. Who we are

2. What we collect
When you send an enquiry (form or email), we receive the details you provide, for example:
- Name, email, phone number
- Preferred stay dates and accommodation
- Number of guests and your message
We do not create user accounts on this website. Server and hosting logs may include standard technical data (IP address, browser type, time of request) processed by our host for security and reliability.
3. Why we process data
- To answer enquiries and prepare a stay offer (legitimate interest / steps prior to a contract)
- To meet legal duties when you stay (for example tourist registration under Slovenian rules)
- To keep the website secure and working
4. Form delivery
The enquiry form is sent via FormSubmit to our email. That means the message content you submit is processed by FormSubmit as a service provider so it can reach us. Do not send payment card numbers through the form.
5. Cookies and similar storage
What we use today:
mh-cookie-consent(localStorage) — remembers whether you closed the cookie notice and your choice. Necessary for that purpose.
We do not currently load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and the cookie notice first.
Third-party content embedded on the site (for example Google Maps) may set its own cookies under the provider’s terms when you load that content.
6. How long we keep data
Enquiry messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business and legal records. Stay-related records may be kept longer where the law requires it (tax, tourist registration).
7. Your rights (GDPR)
Depending on your situation, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. To exercise rights, email info@mestnivrh.si.
